Sage announced recently that one of the UK’s most recognisable entrepreneurs Peter Jones was to become its Ambition Ambassador.
The appointment was described as a commitment from both parties to help new and existing businesses, irrespective of size, to succeed and grow, both in the UK and internationally. It is part of Sage’s new campaign to recognise and support UK ambition. This is something Peter himself has been doing for many years through his companies and from his work on the UK television show, Dragons Den.
During the recent Sage Partner Summit in Seville, it was explained to us that Peter Jones started his first business at 16 and has been using Sage since those early days and in each of his companies since. We feel this is a glowing inditement for the functionality, flexibility and scalability of the Sage Business Cloud and the customer for life story.
We have seen this with our own growing UK customers at Percipient, investing in Sage technology, typically for one of the following reasons:
- Inflexible outdated current system, consuming employee time and restricting growth
- Current system not able to cope with the requirements needed to move into new markets
- Current system not able to handle new required legislation
We are able to solve these challenges for our customers through the implementation of Sage Business Cloud Enterprise Management, to enable that growth and unlock potential.
The new Sage campaign with Peter Jones captures the essence perfectly of what we always look to achieve with our customers. Taking that key step back on first engagement to ask the question “what exactly is it you are looking to achieve?”. Only then can we start to map out how we can achieve that, ultimately asking ourselves the question “how will this customer be different from others by working with us?”. This is captured in the work we have done with Bristol Sport, an ambitious, growing, UK business, who have been using Sage Enterprise Management for some years to facilitate a growing, diverse business. See our customer case study here.
As part of the campaign with Peter Jones, Sage are inviting people to nominate ambitious entrepreneurs and one will win an advice session with Peter himself. Something we feel is a fantastic opportunity and we will certainly be recommending a few of our customers. See the following link for more information –https://www.sage.com/en-gb/cp/ambition/
Over the coming months and years, we look forward to monitoring the success of what we at Percipient, along with Sage and Peter Jones, are looking to achieve in unlocking the potential and growth of ambitious, UK businesses through the use of Sage Business Cloud.
